Wild and romantic style florist serving SLC and beyond.
Wedding and Event Florist
Audrey Mae Floral exists to create beauty in wild and romantic floral design. As a wedding florist in Salt Lake City, UT, Audrey is inspired by the wild, high mountain desert flora and landscape. When I create, I look for the types of flowers, greens, and other elements that make arrangements that are full of texture and dimension to bring a unique, organic look to my work. This adds a look of luxury and an elevated sense of style to my creations. I love when I get to create a wedding arch that’s big and dramatic. Getting to create something beautiful with ideas of my own is an incredibly fulfilling and exciting experience!
My goal in floral design is to make your dream wedding vision come to life through elevated and carefully curated floral design that will unforgettable beauty to your day. Let’s work together to make your floral dreams become a reality.
Our passion is floral design with a purpose. A percentage of every sale goes to a local organization to help at-risk women experience freedom from violence and exploitation. At Audrey Mae Floral, we are creating beauty in more ways than one.
About Audrey
Hi! I’m Audrey Reed. I’m a wedding florist in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am 32 years old and have been doing floral work for three years. I currently live with my husband of just a few months (he married into being my assistant and loves building things to make my designs come to life) and enjoy hiking, doing Crossfit, and decorating my home when I’m not doing floral design.
The first arrangement I remember making was a collection of grocery store and “ditch” flowers as I like to call them. I worked in an industrial area of town with huge ditches that would fill up with phragmite and sunflowers that left some great filler and funky texture I paired with mums from Smith’s. I would make them at Thanksgiving and take with me to give to whoever happened to be hosting me that year. I had a sweet friend in college who spent a couple of Thanksgivings at my parent’s house and her mom would always send an arrangement to my mom. I wanted to keep the tradition alive.
My roommate noticed. She asked me to do her wedding. Nervously, I agreed and the rest is history. I’ve had humble beginnings and mostly have been self taught, signing up for every free webinar I can find and studying as I’ve freelanced, all while developing my own style and taste for designs I love. Floral design is truly something I enjoy and feel happy doing. I love the excitement of the bride when she sees her bouquet for the first time. I relish in the jaw drop at the beauty of the big, dramatic installation that sets the backdrop for the ceremony, where the couple makes the most important commitment of their lives in front of friends and family. These moments should be beautiful, and I get to help make them so.
Design isn’t the only thing I’m passionate about. My goal is that Audrey Mae Floral will have an even more meaningful impact. My desire is for my business to support, care for, and hopefully one day employ women who are affected by domestic oppression, violence, and human trafficking. You can read below what I’m doing currently toward this end. I hope that one day, there will be an Audrey Mae Floral shop in the Salt Lake City area that is bringing hope and joy through florals and meaningful employment to women who otherwise are trapped in abusive circumstances.
